Cotton Bowl View Ins Friday at Cobb, North Fulton and Little Five Points Locations
It's Cotton Bowl Time (FINALLY!) as LSU renews its century-old rivalry with the Texas A&M Aggies in must-win game for bragging rights and recruiting advantage in the region.

LSU Atlanta will host game views in three official locations as listed below: Front Page News in Little Five, Atkins Park in Smyrna and Buffalo Wild Wings in Alpharetta.

NOTE that we no longer have a Buckhead viewing partner.  We have ended our relationship with Cheyenne Grille and strongly recommend that you attend another location - Front Page News downtown is closest and will be ROCKIN'.

Click on their Logos to visit their Web pages for location, directions and more.

Mike A. Tiger's Weekly Football Blog: Auburn

 A Tale of Two Tigers

Tastes Like War Chikn

Here we Geaux again: Hide the kids, lock up the womenfolk and throw out the record books. Auburn is coming to play.

When two tigers tangle, twisted tales turn out. Weird things always happen when LSU and Auburn meet for football – and games are so singular and memorable that most earn their own name like “Earthquake Game,” “Cigar Game” “Barn Burner” and “Grand Theft Auburn.” Mike’s Auburn blog from last year gives a more detailed history you can review. What will the 2009 tilt be called? For LSU fans, we’ll be happy to just call it a “Win” and move on to our scrimmage with Tulane to get ready for the red elephants on Nov 7, where it could be #1 vs #4 yet again.

Sgt. Peppa’s Lonely Fleur-de-Lis Band

Oh my, where to begin. Out of courtesy to a fellow state school, Mikey is invoking the mercy rule and will keep his comments short…like UL’s list of football achievements.

Mike A. Tiger's Weekly Football Blog: Vandy

Separated at Birth?

Mikey couldn’t believe his eyes a few years ago when Vanderbilt took the field.  What…the…heck?  Was that Steve Martin leading the Commodores onto the field? No, it’s Bobby Johnson, and he’s a pretty solid football coach.  The two did finally meet when Martin toted his banjo to the Grand Ole Opry recently.

Reminder: Sweet Send Off Dessert Social Sunday at 3 in Marietta

Want to see some fresh energetic faces excited about starting their college career at LSU? Sweet Send Off will again welcome these LSU-bound local high school grads and their guests into the LSU family this Sunday at 3 pm at historic Marlow House at the Marietta Town Square.

The two hour reception will feature LSU theme music, greetings, stories and tips about LSU by Ole War Skule alumni, door prizes and delectable sweets such as pralines by New Orleans Fine Catering, an LSU theme cake by Catered Cakes and a sinful sampling platter of goodies from Copeland’s of Atlanta. All including Marlow House are proud sponsors of LSU Atlanta.

This event is directly related to our ongoing mission of promoting the image of our alma mater and providing incentive scholarships for Georgia students interested in attending LSU. If you have positive stories about your LSU experience to share, these are the kids and parents that would really enjoy hearing them. RSVPs are not required but helpful. Please email us at events@LSUatlanta.com if you plan to drop in. Marlow House information HERE.
