Crawfish Boil
Crawfish Craze Part 2 at Buckhead Saloon May 21 - Join us!

We heard our ITP (Inside The Perimeter) Tiger fans wanted to have a midday crawfish boil close to them so we listened.  LSU Atlanta will end the mudbug season with a bang on Saturday, May 21 at Buckhead Saloon, a sponsor which also happens to be our new 2011 Buckhead football view-in location.

The mudbug massacre starts at noon and will feature boiled crawfish provided by our longtime sponsor Boudreaux's Cajun Market and Cafe.  Order your crawfish from us and supplement with all of the great food and drink that Buckhead Saloon offers to complete your day.  We will update with more details but some of the enticements provided by Buckhead Saloon are rumored to be live entertainment and first drink on the house with purchase of a menu item.

Price is only $10.50 per  platter of 2 lbs. boiled crawfish and you also get (2) half ears of corn and (2) boiled potatoes. Many restaurants are charging $6/lb. and more so this is a great deal.  Order as many platters as you want in advance.  This is a family friendly event with an enclosed patio as well as indoor seating so feel free to bring the kids! We are also on the hunt for a DVD of the Cotton Bowl played earlier this year so we can show it on the big screen.

ORDER NOW - CLICK HERE

You must order crawfish by Tuesday, May 17th to guarantee your order. There will be a limited amount of crawfish sold first come, first served on site but we can't guarantee availability since we heard a bunch of regulars to Buckhead Saloon and some local Cajuns have caught wind of this event.

Simply The BEST Crawfish Boil Ever!

The 2009 edition of LSU Atlanta's "Crawfish Craze in Red Clay Country" returned to the pastoral settings of the Corps of Engineers Riverside Park near Allatoona Dam on April 25, a place we have claimed for our own and rechristened "Bayou Allatoona."  We will link a photo gallery soon.

Where to start... how about how we ended up?  The goal was to have a great time with fellow Tiger fans and raise a bunch of scholarship money. Done and done.  Nearly 400 P&G faithful...along with a smattering of curious Dawgs and other assorted and awed denizens of other alma maters...invaded the grounds to enjoy spicy bugs and other tasty vittles, cool beverages, hot Zydefunk music and warm company.  Some set up tents and relaxed in the tree shaded areas of our version of "Touchdown Village" while others staked out a table under the breezy pavillion.  Tons of prizes were given out and no one left hungry.
