Scholarship

Alexis Rook, one of our two LSU Atlanta Scholarship Endowment recipients for 2009, sent us a letter recently to share her experiences and gratitude for the scholarship support.  If you wonder why almost everything we do is focused on scholarship fundraising this letter should provide illumination and inspiration.  Some excerpts:

As of July 2009, our 2nd Endowed Scholarship is  fully endowed at $20,000. We have two scholarship winners for Fall 2009--each will receive $1000 during their freshman year at LSU.  Thanks for supporting our chapter and making these two scholarships available.  Decision to be made if we will endow another or add money to these two and be able to give out more money to recipi
