How would you like to grab a pair of tickets to a 2009 LSU football home game? How about a crawfish boil party for ten, or maybe you fancy having a New Orleans native chef perform a Creole cooking demonstration in your home. You can bid on these and other great items in our first-ever Live Auction at our annual crawfish boil coming right up on Saturday, April 25th.  Remember to order your tickets in advance and especially to get your crawfish platters ordered by our Saturday deadline.

 

The live auction will begin shortly after Zydefunk completes their second music set and everyone’s had their fill of crawfish, red beans, jambalaya and other goodies.  (Food service is between 1 and 3 pm, Band plays two sets between 12:30 and 3 pm)  The charity auction will be conducted by Rhonda Duffy and the Duffy Auction Team. Rhonda is a licensed auctioneer and top real estate broker and agent. Her husband and business partner Frank Duffy is a New Orleans native and LSU grad, and Duffy Realty also stepped up to be the sponsor of the live band at the boil.  

There will again be our traditional silent auction of other items, and our Door Prize list is  growing longer with restaurant certificates, Community Coffee items and tons of LSU clothing and fan gear to give away. Everyone gets one door prize ticket included with their $10 admission.

2009 LSU Home Game Tickets – Want to see LSU host Florida, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Arkansas or Homecoming vs. La. Tech this fall? Be the highest bidder on one of these pairs of tickets and you can!
 
Creole Chef Demonstration for Four– Chef Demietrick Scott, owner of New Orleans Fine Catering and the new Peoples Restaurant in Roswell, learned his trade working in Crescent City kitchens such as Commanders Palace and Ralph & Kacoo’s. Our sponsor’s catering expertise includes both large scale and in-home gourmet chef engagements including conducting a cooking demonstration for the Arthur Blank family. If you are the highest bidder, Chef Scott will come to your home (30 mile radius of Atlanta, longer distance may have a nominal travel charge added) and put on a tasty Creole cooking show for four people (if you want a larger party he will quote you an upgrade price).
 
Crawfish Boil for Ten – The winner of this auction item will get enough boiled crawfish, corn and potatoes for a party of ten courtesy of our sponsor Boudreaux’s Cajun Market and Café in Duluth. Owner Paul Many says you can either come eat in the restaurant or take it to go, dat’s your choice, cher’.
