Late Kickoff for UW Game
You say what? Saturday 10:30 kickoff? At night?? That's right, the match between Tigers and the Huskies are the prime time game (for people on the West Coast) which will be great exposure for LSU but it makes for a very late game for us in Atlanta.
No matter, all four of our restaurant/sports bars will welcome Tiger fans to come out and watch the game together: Copelands- Cumberland, Front Page News - Little Five Points, Buffalo Wild Wings- Alpharetta and Sidelines Grille - Suwanee. Only our Newnan Tigers home-hosted viewings will not be available for the first game.
Even if it is later than usual, at least come out and watch the first half - a portion of all sales to Tiger fans goes to LSU Atlanta. By halftime this one might be over anyway.

Mike A. Tiger’s Kickoff Blog: Huskies in for some rough sledding

Mikey's baaaaack! Time to get your weekly fix of our resident blogger's sophomoric wit and marginally informative comments about Tiger football.
This week Mike offers his "new and improved" lyrics for the Washington fight song as boldly predicts which purple and gold team will prevail. As if there is any doubt!

Kickoff Party Raises Over $1,600 for Band Hall Fund
Our thanks to everyone who came to Copeland's last Saturday for our Kickoff Party benefit for the Tiger Band Hall drive. Both sportswriter Ray Glier and Band alum and Norcross HS Band Director Rudy Gilbert gave great talks, the crowd really enjoyed the videos, food and fun, and lots of people went home with prizes and auction buys.
In all, over $1,600 will be sent to the Band Together Fund. Thanks to the fans, members and our great sponsors- without all of you we would not be able to accomplish great things...and have fun while we do it!

UGA vs. LSU Game Tickets to be Given Away in Members Only Drawing Sept. 26th
Thanks to Buffalo Wild Wings - Alpharetta, a Champion Sponsor of LSU Atlanta, we will be giving one lucky dues paying member a pair of tickets to see LSU humble the UGA Dawgs on Oct. 3 in Athens!
Anyone who is already a dues paying member of LSU Atlanta is automatically entered in the drawing. If you have not officially joined LSU Atlanta all you have to do to be eligible is to join the chapter, which helps support all of our activities and fundraising efforts.
The winning member name will be selected by Buffalo Wild Wings General Manager Peter Martinsen at halftime of the Sept. 26th LSU-Mississippi State game at the Alpharetta store. Winning member does not need to be present. The weekly traveling Tiger Prize Patrol will also be on hand at Alpharetta for this date.
This is our second year for BWW Alpharetta as an official view in location with overhead game sound and plenty of big screen coverage.
