Bulletin: Deadline for Faxed / Postmarked Discount Ticket Orders is Tomorrow for Tiger Tour Featuring Les Miles coming June 11

We’ve already told you how this will be the best-produced college sports tour with big screen TVs and premium audio for the three hour multimedia show, about the displays and silent auction, and that there won’t be a bad seat in the house with only 300 seats available.

What you need to know is that while half of the seats are still available, you can only get them at the discount prices by sending in your ticket order NOW. The deadline is published as May 15th, but because this newsletter was delayed by one day they will still honor the $10 discount if the order is faxed in to the number on the form OR the mailed order with payment is postmarked by MAY 16…that’s Saturday.

There are only two Tier 1 premium tables left, and you can still work on bringing a group of 8 together for a reserved Tier 2 table even after sending in a partial order. Simply call one of the contacts on the order form and they will work with you to get your group table reserved. Individual ticket holders will be free to sit anywhere in the tables behind reserved ones and will still have a great view.

Find out more about this exciting event and download the order form here. We need to sell out this event to get it back every year, and you don’t want to miss this informative and entertaining night so GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!

LSU Baseball View Ins for SEC and NCAA Tournaments at Buffalo Wild Wings? Heck yeah!

We are still waiting for the final game and TV schedule for the SEC Baseball Tournament next week, but we know some if not all of the LSU games will be televised and that Buffalo Wild Wings in Alpharetta (Mansell exit off Ga. 400, go east ¼ mile) subscribes to all available sporting events/channels on the dish. We will send out another email blast next week, but we wanted to let everyone know that we WILL be gathering to watch the LSU Baseball Tigers play for both the SEC and for NCAA tournament games that are available on TV.

In Town Tigers Invite You to “The Last Crawfish Party of 2009” Saturday May 30 at Depeaux Restaurant

At our annual crawfish boil some downtown folks asked if we could have a second crawfish boil inside the Perimeter. Well, to be honest it takes a LOT of time and volunteers to do a total blow out like the one at Allatoona, but what we can do is to have the In Town Tigers host a group of LSU fans to enjoy boiled crawfish at Depeaux Restaurant, an LSU Atlanta Purple and Gold Sponsor (owned by former Baton Rougeans who bleed purple and gold) that has boiled crawfish available every weekend in season. Visit their website for menu, history and directions HERE.

Here’s the deal: We will meet at Depeaux Saturday, May 30th at 1 pm to devour what may be the last mudbugs of the season. Depeaux’s regular platter price this season has been $18 but for everyone who RSVPs the price will be discounted to $15. They are also offering $2 Pabst Blue Ribbon Tall Boys and $4 schooners of Abita draft beer- and everyday they offer no less than SIX varieties of Abita on tap!  We'll also give away a door prize.

To RSVP you can email events@lsuatlanta.com or respond to the invitation that will be going out today or tomorrow through the In Town Tigers/LSU alumni Facebook page. Anyone can join the group, but if you live inside the Perimeter, the Facebook page is where you need to be so the In Town Tigers can generate more informal gatherings and organized events for folks like you throughout the year.

Bits and Pieces

Crawfish Boil Lost and Found
Most people left our annual crawfish boil with more than they came with – prizes, auction items or at least a belly full of good vittles and a head full of good times.   However, someone left a cooler/thermos and 2 chairs at the park. Sarah Clayton has them for safekeeping – email her at sleeclay@comcast.net with ID on color/logos to retrieve your stuff.

Live Crawfish Special
Catering Cajun of Georgia just let us know that due to a late reduction in numbers for a crawfish boil they are catering this weekend, they now have a few extra 30-40 lb. sacks of live crawfish available for pick up Friday or Saturday. Special LSU fan price for the overage crawfish is only $2.25 per lb. by the sack, which is a very good price for this season – supply has been shorter and prices higher this year.

Call Scott at (404) 643 – 2000 if you want to snap up a sack or two.
