LSU Alumni Celebrity Golf Tournament

The LSU Alumni Association will hold its 13th annual Celebrity Golf Classic on Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at the LSU Golf Course in Baton Rouge.

Interested in forming an official LSU Atlanta team? The Alumni Association in Baton Rouge is proposing a special chapter competition during the tournament:

Attention Chapter Leaders:

We are issuing a challenge to all of our chapters for this year LSU Alumni Celebrity Golf Tournament. We would like to have a few chapters represented with a team of 4 for either the morning or afternoon shotgun Tee – time.

Here is what we are offering. Each Chapter bring a unique LSU item that the chapter may have and put it in "The Pot". The chapter team who scores the lowest out of all chapter teams then takes home "The Pot". And don't worry; we will also be adding some good stuff in there as well. I guess you will just have to sign up to see what you could win. We are also throwing around the idea that the last place chapter team will have to pay the winning team's entry fee. The team does not actually have to win the tournament; just beat the other chapter teams.

A team of 4 cost $600 and includes a goodie bag, free drinks and snacks throughout the day, lunch and an after tournament reception. And of course great prizes.
