A Message from your Georgia TAF and LSU Atlanta presidents

Dear Die-Hard Tiger Fan,

Are you getting a little tired of the blathering from the media and ESPN about how Bama or Ole Miss are going to win the SEC West in football this year? Are you parched for information on our Tiger football team? Are you beginning to ache about how slow the days are going until your beloved Bayou Bengals kick off against Washington?

How would you like to have a One Of A Kind piece of Tiger Stadium memorabilia to display (and potentially use!) in your own Tiger Room? Our resourceful board member Mark Richard recently returned from Baton Rouge with a truly special part of Tiger Stadium history from 1974-2006 and authenticated by Associate Athletic Director for Facilities Ronnie Halliburton, and it is destined to be someone’s prized and coveted LSU collector’s piece.  What is it?  Not so fast…and no peeking dere Boudreaux!

Tiger Tour with Les Miles June 11 - DO NOT MISS IT!

With big screen multimedia and only 300 seats available, everyone will be up close for the 2009 Tiger Tour with Les Miles coming to Cobb Galleria Centre Thursday night, June 11th.  Read on and download your ticket order form today!

The LSU Tiger Tour brings LSU coaches and personalities to selected cities in Louisiana and the South for an approximate 3 hour program with a dinner and talks and multimedia presentations.  It’s an opportunity to address regional media and loyal fans about the successes of LSU Athletics and student-athletes on and off the field.

The tour is a collaboration of Tiger Athletic Foundation, LSU Alumni Association and LSU Foundation. LSU Atlanta and the Georgia TAF Chapter collaborated and worked hard to obtain this Atlanta tour date and are promoting ticket sales. Tour sponsors are Capital One, CST and Eagle 98.1 FM.

In addition to the stage program, Special Event areas include a TAF Silent Auction, LSU Alumni Gift Store, Capital One Photo Area and CST Trivia Challenge! Eagle 98.1 FM’s Gordy Rush will be master of ceremonies. There will be some time provided for fans to meet with personalities.

What follows is more specifics and you can download your ticket order form HERE (also attached below this story.) Credit card orders may be faxed, orders with checks must be mailed to the address provided.

So much to celebrate and be proud for. Enough for Mikey to wake from his offseason football slumber to tip the cap and share a few thoughts, links and chuckles about our fantastic LSU Baseball Tigers winning the SIXTH College World Series Championship in history. And that’s not using Alabama football math either.
