LSU FOREVER CAMPAIGN

LSU ALUMNI: Don Waguespack and I have been asked to co-chair the Forever LSU campaign for Atlanta. The former chair has returned to LA to live. I attended a meeting in Br last Friday and was updated on campaign status. As most of you know, the goal is $750 million by 2010. We have $566,000 now.

One of our Atlanta Alumni Board members, Michele Hieger, is featured in the Dec 2008 issue of Veranda. For those who were at our Sweet Send off party, Michele made her Royal Sweets--fab chocoates--please grab the mag, read this wonderful article about her business, and then you'll also have some of the chololate recipes.

Peachtree City Area LSU Alumni

Trying to find you. Ron Abadie and John Chiasson, who live in Peachtree CIty, are working to find you and have group gather to watch games and plan other Tiger events. I have obtained list of names from LSUAA an several emails were sent and some came back--so we are trying to find you and maybe you read this web page. Scholarship Update

As of September 2008, our 2nd Endowed Scholarship is at $12,233. It will be fully endowed at $20,000. Please consider making a donation to LSUAA and earmark your donation for the Atlanta Scholarship II. here is link: www.lsualumni.org. All donations are tax deductible. you can also donate stock--not on line, however, but by sending letter to your broker who will transfer the stock to LSUAA.
